train cafe

there is a cafe on train...quite dirty n i dun feel comfortable dining there...they serve many types of food,mainly masakan panas..n yes,they cook ON the train...so u cant blame them when yr mee goreng r too salty cause itz so hard to keep yr balance while standing let alone cooking!!!accidents DO happen~~haha...the waiters r all specially trained..they can bring u a full cup of tea without a single drop splitting out~~marvelous!!!!frankly,i wont recommend u to eat there unless u r v v hungry...:)it is more of a place to hang out when u cant sleep...wat can u expect fr the food served on train?haha...

not v nice~~erm,not at all...i feel so 'geli' everytime i go there...whaoh hahaha...

私房菜之芋头扣肉

时间：假期中 （但美食侦探家从没休息！）
地点：温暖的张家府

这次要介绍的是妈妈的拿手好菜之一“芋头扣肉”！
来看看“The Making……”

酱料：南乳，糖，黑酱油，五香粉，胡椒粉。。。。（基于是祖传秘方，在此不便公开）

当然还有主角芋头（先炸好）和猪肉（先腌制然后去炒）

把主角排列好，再加上密制酱料

然后蒸，就可以上桌了！

不是本人卖花赞花香，的确会好吃过 kebun sutan westlake 卖的十元一碟！

watson honey body scrub

as i was browsing through tis mth's CLEO,i came across pages where they recommend the best product for each criteria..e.g.body shampoo,mask,facial cleanser...then wat surprises me is tat the watson' honey body scrub came out as the winner for the "Best Body Scrub" title..wow~wat an honour..and yes,i doubt it...aiyah,think of it lar,there r so many branded n well known brand of body scrubs ard n watson's brand cant even hold a candle...to me,any product using the retail shop name as their brand's name means tat they r there juz to meet the shoppers' economic demand..in other words,high quantity,low quality....how can a RM19.90 body scrub compare wif the body shop's body scrub which cost nth below RM50?well,tatz my initial opinion...hehe....but i hav decided to giv the honey body scrub a try cause there was a 30% discount!!so cheap man!!!i hav to pay RM13++ only!!!so,no harm trying right?haha...

i was attracted to itz unique n nice container...creative!!!it reali looks like the container we always use to store honey..hehe..makes me think of winnie the pooh...haha..

it has natural sugar crystals tat gently exfoliate dead skin cells to reveal brighter, more radiant skin. it is enriched with honey extract n almond oil...

frankly speaking,i wasnt in favour of it when i first dig into the jar full of sugar!!!duh~i reli cant imagine n was so reluctant to spread those sugar on my body!!!bloody hell NO!!!!but...i proceeded...i feel like a living n walking candy bar~~-___________-'''lelong lelong~satu batang sepuluh sen~~haha...

the sugar crystals are a bit too rough for my *ehem*already succulent skin~

after rinsing off the debris,the result was incredible!!!my skin feels so soft n moisturised!!!!

i m indeed v v v impressed~~~so i no longer look down on those product anymore...hehe....

worthy of trying~~~:)

大吃会又来了！这次是为了庆祝开斋节。我们一群人来到了这间充满阿拉伯风味的餐馆。。



这间店坐落于吉兰丹数一数二会塞车的街旁，而且超级靠近两间百货公司，KB Mall 和 Billion是也，所以非常容易吸引人潮。


来看看店的环境，还有可爱的pbl15成员。。





这间店也有卖一些特别进口的阿拉伯食品，包括罐头和调味料。。








哈哈。。奇怪的餐单，需要店员加以解释。价钱还算ok。。。








食物来了！食物来了！






MieMie 吃回她的同类，羊肉。




MieMie 的评语：第一块羊肉还ok, 第二块羊肉我吃到失仪态。。太硬了。至于咖喱kuah 还好。。
Evelyn : (偷吃kari..) 就很普通，没甚特别，还ok..


Lulu 和 PitPit 选了个酸甜鸡。。



PitPit : (一脸烦恼) 鸡这么大块。。怎么吃？？？
Lulu : 淡淡的酸味。。
Evelyn : (这次不用偷吃，lulu切了一小块) Walau..词穷。。不懂怎样形容。。

Evelyn自己选了个最基本的ayam bakar。。



Evelyn : 就普通咯。没什么味道。。


馋嘴的四人还叫了个不懂什么名堂的长长鸡肉条，是该店推荐食物之一。



Miemie : 还是这个比较像样。。
Lulu : 我最爱它的salad!
Pitpit : (还是很烦恼，但很快的拿了块尝试) 不错。。
Evelyn : 为什么味道变差？？以前很有阿拉伯风味，很有特色。现在。。。

至于饮品大家都叫 yogurt drink, 这是yogurt kiwi



Miemie : 我爱酸酸的饮品！
Lulu : 以前比较好喝，蛮酸的。。
Evelyn : 酸咯，用来开胃很适合。。

至于价钱，咳咳。。水 RM2.50, Nasi beriani RM2. ayam bakarRM4.50,share 的鸡肉条RM1.50 一共RM10.50! 但的确很大盘， 包你有种吃到胃胀的感觉。（Pitpit 只吃完1/2 的鸡）

吃后感：不懂为什么，上次来吃会觉得样样东西都很有特色，无论是烤鸡、牛还是羊，连 面包也非常特别。。这次就。。。觉得有点失望，不懂是不是因为斋戒月关系，还是自己期望越高，失望越大。。但那个鸡肉条，还是值得推介！

i ordered the most normal n basic dish,the fish & chips...there r many negative comments but despite those mood dampening comments,evelyn n i insisted to try it out...yeewoon was wif us n she kept on preventing us from entering the shop by pouring lotz n lotz of negative comments from her previous experience..of course we cant b defeated so easily,we r profesional food detectives!!!!if we never try,we will never noe~~right?even if the food is bad,we still hav to try it for the sake of our faithful reader!!!hehe....presenting to u :

fish n chips

pro : v crispy, fresh(main criteria fulfilled)

cons : too much fries, too little tartar sauce(but u can demand for more n they r happy to giv!),paper plate(not presentable)

fish n chips + squids

basically itz the same as fish n chips...additional squids only...itz chewy...not bad..

nice atmosphere,v soothing,relaxing yet colourful...they tried to inject sum london feel in but i dun think they succeed more than having a london flag light...haha...

上海的小笼包

说到难忘的美食，evelyn脑海里就浮现出。。。。。。。

地点：上海城隍庙九曲桥边的南翔馒头店
时间：六月二十三号早上十一点多
人物：evelyn 和妈咪还有姐姐


哇！去到那里的第一个印象就是怎么这么多人？？？排队的少说都有30人！！我简直看到目瞪口呆。。


姐：还傻傻站在那里做什么？我们上楼去。


上楼？？咳，忘了先给这间百年老店来个介绍，当然人人都知道来到上海，一定要尝尝这里著名的小笼包啦，不然就好像等于没来过上海。哈哈！小笼包，哪里都有卖，哪怕是路边还是五星级酒店，但最正宗的算这家南翔老店了。这间店有点“串”的地方就在于：

楼下：小笼包卖的最便宜，但据说口感和卖相没来的这么好，而且你必须排长长的队伍，排上一两个小时简直是小事。。
一楼：除了小笼包，你还可以尝尝其他的点心，但是有时这里是客满的哦！需要等位子，还有价钱和楼下的不一样哦！！
最高楼：这里和其他楼唯一不同的地方就是环境好，风水好，就是无论你吃多少，最低消费是人民币200元！


你说这间店历不厉害？？

结果我们3人就坐在一楼，还好时间算早，无需等位。
我们叫的食物就是：
乌龙茶、小笼包、蟹汁小笼包、汤包、炸春卷以及炸虾肉球。。。

在等待食物的同时，先看看四周吧。。

师傅们大显身手。。。

哇!!食物来了！！

久违了的小笼包。。。

小笼包的确好好吃哦！薄薄的皮，轻轻一咬，里面的汁全留出来。。再配上姜醋，简直是棒极了！最爱的就是蟹汁的小笼包哦。赞！

这个就是那个炸虾球了！

不要看它其貌不扬，其实咬下去是超脆的。如果你认为这是普通的炸虾球，那你就错了！里面除了是结实的虾肉，还有汁哦！而且还是蟹汁！！！

来了，来了。。等了这么久，它还是逃不出我的馋嘴。。

汤包是也！我点的是蟹汁汤包哦！看到水草上还有标签着“小心烫口”吗？够特别吧。。这个汤包的吃法就是吸！吸完里面所有的蟹汁。。包的皮太硬，是没人吃的。最后就是把它剥开，吃掉里面的蟹肉。。。

不到一小时，我们3人就把食物一扫而空。结果吃了差不多两百人民币。谢谢姐！

吃后感：本人的推介是汤包咯！因为它够特别，还有里面是本人最爱的蟹汁，你说怎能不爱上它？？？虽然价钱是有点贵，但毕竟来到上海，吃一吃，绝对是值得的！

p/s: 由于本人当时只顾着吃，结果只拍了汤包的照片。paiseh.. 其他的照片是从网上找来的，放心，绝对和本人当时吃的食物一模一样，绝无欺骗！
